New To Vagdrivers, From Galway

Hey all!

I've been on seatcupra.net for a while but I'm new to VAGdrivers, I said I should keep it local.

I'm in Galway, drive a SEAT Leon FR+, previously had a Leon 110 TDI and loved it.

I've big plans for my car, which is currently stock (or as close as makes no difference), but they're going to be slow to come about, what with the recession and all...
I also love the way it drives at the moment so I'm not in any rush to start modding.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know ye, maybe attend a meet or two.

Hey guys,

Yeah that was me with the yellow Leon, still have it, haven't managed to shift it yet!

I've a couple of pics on the camera, will upload them in a bit. Current Leon's standard.

As for mods, for now I have drilled and grooved discs, standard size, next step is some performance pads, thinking Ferodo DS2500s. The discs are eating through the standard pads! The servo just went which cost a nice bit to replace so mods will have to wait.

After the pads I'll probably get rid of the cat, €50 job. Then Nomad double pillar pod with boost and oil temp gauges. Also planning a jetex cone filter, heat shield, cold air feed and SFS Turbo Inlet Pipe.

As for other mods, they'll be far down the line and plans may change.

Welcome along. I always see your old leon parked outside Dunnes in Terryland. Unusual car and there arent too many KK regs around either!

Yeah I love the yellow Leon, stands out a mile, never lose it in a car park! The only problem is that the paint fades, I would've gone for that colour again otherwise.

Welcome along - you should come to the July meet. Search monthly galway meet and you'll get the thread. Pics are usually taken and uploaded too. Nice way of getting to know lads and getting advice etc.
