Nct Question?

Hi im just wondering do you need to have the standard alloys on ur car for the NCT?? I bought rs6 alloys for my audi a4 2004 and its due its NCT in 2 weeks am i was told i might need to put the standard alloys back on to it for to pass the test, is this true??as iwas going to sell my geniune audi originals

Cheers thanks for that, just a friend of mine went in with her 02 tdi seat loen and they failed her because she had not got the standard alloys on the car. she put the original set on it and they passed her was just wondering, thanks

just make sure all your tires are road legal have "E" marked , same size and all got the directional the right way. you could roll up on tractor wheels and they cant say any thing so rock on

Maybe wrong tyre hight, size maybe different alloy radius,width etc... Im sure there was something ealse.

The bits I have highlighted above are probably why they told her such a bull shit story. But seriously there has to be more than that to make her re-sit the test. What a load. What did it say on the fail sheet??

You should be grand BTW once they're the legal limit and have the proper markings on them and are all the same size.

ha your prob right dare.....i dont know what the fail sheet said she just told us it failed on wrong alloys. ah nice one so i can go sell the original ones and make a few quid thanks lads
