oh by the way if ya want to lower it il be taking the h+r cup kit (shocks and springs) outa the vento during the week, yours for €60 if ya want... theyre very low but still comfortable

Sourced them in england and got a garage to get them in for me and fit the tyres...pricey tho...ha...need more stretch when i change the tyres again i think tho...and the wheels need a new colour for the centres so we'll see what happens...i jus went flat out with the updates and work at the start cause i knew this stint was comin...ha

 

right back on track hit a bit of a slump there and been gathering parts will have a few pics soon new plan is to have it ready for the limrick show will be hard but im gona do it

 

Bang and the small updates happened ha

Right started to do a bit tonight small things but its a start... ill start at the begining.... car is going to get sprayed easter weekend ( its great having a brother whos a sprayer mad for work

Took out the vento front to split my lights so iv got a shitty blue golf front on for the time being

Badges gold

Decided to black up me grill:
Taped up and ready to go

Got two new wishbone 2 new droplinks 2 new anti-roll bar bushings and two new discs and pads no pics... also got a set of poly bushes for when they are done...

Its all very slow moving at the min so started gathering parts here a pics of what i have sitting waiting to go into the car:

love them soooo easy to fit and i think they look well with the strut brace

Got distracted then and dismantled the computer to clean it ha good job never heats up now

Have skirts too but have no pics

just need a splitter and im sorted after paint ha...

Put the old style grill on before sending it to Fatman on here and i kinda miss it

Coilovers in now had her down full and got stuck on the road so had to rise her up

but have her sitting fairly nice now must sort wheels and get this respray sorted ha... will get pics this evening

yeah i no i kinda miss it already ha must look for another one

So started on me engine conversion have a 1y here but im going to turbo it

with a nice frontmount have it all stripped down now and im going to change all seals service etc and pait it

bit of an update too put in an adjustable set of headlights had the car up high cos i have to take a full load to work heres how she sitting now just not low enough

heres she is with the black and gold grill

i was kinda holding of on my stuff until i got the the respray but i said feck it here how she sits now new wheelswith tires tires which are far too big but kinda like it ha bonnet bra and blue lights i no the lights wont be to everyones taste but i love it ha let me no what you think new tires to come then more lows,, changed the gold badge too cos didnt look right with the blue

think im going to 2000 grit and polish the car this week for limrick too

 

Found a great apprentice mechanic too he doesnt waste any time great man

 

Nice work lad, but if ya 2000 grit it ya may buff it with a proper buffer with t-cut or polish or you'll end up with the grit marks everywhere

What he said, 2000 grit is even finicky enough to take out with a rotary buffer.

was thinking of selling there but changed my mind now lost heart a bit then went mad updates to come

 

Been a while and done nothing lost all heart in it and the just tore into it will defo be ready for limerick maybe dubshed stripped out and ready for paint nearly
