Sorry the pics aint great.This is a quick rundown of whats done so far.

Complete engine,box,loom,ecu and clocks fitted from doner car.
Peddle box from Seat to work fly by wire trottle and clutch,
Home made 2" stainless exhaust system.
K&N induction kit with s/s intake pipe,
Mk3 tdi intercooler with s/s pipes and Samco hoses,
Mk4 Pd150 diesel cooler,
mk3 vr6 fuel pump in tank,
shortened mk2 drive shafts with g6o CV joints and adaptors to fit 6 speed box.

I used the two Seat engine mounts on the chassis legs and welded a section of
a mk4 subframe into my mk3 subframe to take a mk4 gti dogleg mount at the back.
The left chassis leg had to be chopped and remade around the huge gearbox for more
clearance.

 

Jeeez Dave thats gona be some weapon! wil be some job when its finished, nice audi door handles too!
when do you hope to have it finished?
wat kinda power is that gona be pushing?

 

Gonna try my best have it out for Limerick.

Im going to leave it at 130 until I get some more milage on it
and then prob just get a remap.Should piss all over a vr6 then.

I did all the work except the arches.
Engine is out again to smooth the engine bay,battry is in the boot
now and the loom and fuel lines are run through the chassis legs.

Prob go with TT nimbus grey for that euro look.

 

you would need a TT filler cap and dashbord to make that colour work!

 

Saw this car in the flesh myself and it looks class, I love those Merc rims! Best of luck with it Dave.

And you shouldnt have the intercooler on an E30 M3's roof

I cut a section out of the mk3 subframe and welded in a mk4 bit,handy enough.

Them oul M3s are getting common now anyway
