Well This is my new daily driver (MOT depending)....which I bought for a little more than the cost of filling the Corrado with petrol

The plan is to abuse this car over the winter while the Corrado goes into semi retirement, in a nice dry garage!!

Geo HATES this car, so he really wont appreciate this thread being here at all!!!

I'll throw up a few pics of the Corrado (yes ANOTHER one
) when I give it a good clean!

Its actually in excellent condition!.....needs a seatbelt reel for the MOT, thats about all I can see!

And I know they aren't the most fantastic looking car ever...but its only a daily driver....and I don't really think I could have got much better for the price!

Yes that was a BIT of an understatement looking back at it now

should really have read: "only needs: 4 news shocks + springs, top plates, top mounts, cv boot, wishbones, bushings, balljoints, rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake flexi lines, sump + gasket, fuel pump + lines, split pin from track rod end etc etc!

Well, that was getting absolutely everything done!....could have skimped on bits! and that also includes a lot of stuff that I managed to destroy while trying to disassemble

and the list of stuff it now requires after being thrashed for the last few months is: New windscreen, d/s front indicator, accel pedal bushing + clutch cable is on its way out

It's fully taxed and Mot'd a while back!

running fine but keeps on getting vandalised and crashed into!

It made it on a trip from Lon -> Dub -> Galway and back to Lon as a warm up for the scally rally though! No probs at all apart from an attempted break in!

Made a trip to oxford a few weeks back and came back to the car the next morning to find someone had given it a hefty shunt to the d/s corner! Bumper was bent out of shape and indicator smahed! I managed to bend the bumper back into shape and I'm waiting on a new indicator to be deliverd still!

then left it parked outside the house we were stying in in Galway last weekend. Came back to the car to find some (drunken) idiot had tried to break into it through the windscreen! so the windscreen is badly cracked. the window rubbers on the side windows are slashed up badly. and there are loads of other scrapes and chunks out of it where they also tried to get in

at that stage I was set to break it for parts, but luckily I found a replacemment windscreen on Ebay for £10

i know its a terrible thing to happen to your car, ive had the back window of my old 307 smashed because somebody wanted to nick it,
but it reminds me of a funny story, years back me and a mate drove into town for a night out, left the
mk2 golf parked for the night and came back the next day to collect it, only to find this lad pisssed drunk
who had broken into the car to sleep there for the night

Wow! Never thought this thread would se the light of day again!!

I actually sold the car a while after I took it on the Scally rally. Had it looking quite respectable at the end, and got a good price for it! Replaced it with a TD 405 to keep me going for the moment, as it costs about a quarter of what it cost to keep the rocco going!...pity though, it was a great little car

Few pics from just before I sold it!
