Started stripping it tonight for a respray. No disasters found so far thankfully.

Good luck Glenn. Well worth doing that to a car like this. I assume you will be keeping it completely standard?

There is blistering in the paint on the scuttle panel and a small spot on the drivers door so to do it right would have meant painting the whole side and probably the bonnet and roof so we said we go the whole hog. There's a few little dents that need sorting too. James (CCR) will be doing the paint. Then it will just be a refit, new windscreen and a new set of RM's.

jesus glem bit of work fixing it up but no doubt it will be a top notch job as ever with you. good luck with it. dont do the wedding route just tell her you love he but not in love with her. it will get you an extra year or two any way!1

Another pic, bit shitty, sorry. Got most of the external stuff stripped off it now, screen out and the scuttle only has a bit of surface rust so a bit of a relief there. Just have to take off the arches, rear screen and drivers window and it'll be time to start prepping the paint.
