the only thing I'll say is the full r kit will need a t least a set of 18's to pull it off - the kit makes the car look quiet fat and whiel the monty II look really well on standard car the heavier kit needs bigger wheels IMO
i might just put on the r32 side skirts and a anniversary front lip not to sure yet, then i will probaly put on 17" alloys, maybe the rs4 style alloys

got everything done in Rm performance in killarney, but id say that it would be easy to get anywhere in a body shop or off the net, the bumper is a lester r32 replica

If ya don't mind me asking how much did it all cost?

Nice mods so far by the way

ya was thinking about that aswell, would it look better if the lip between the spoiler and the bumper was filled in and painted over

ya gonna lower it a bit, but not too much cos the roads around where i live are very bad and the sump is low at the moment

Ye a fully smooth bumper is nice but maybe an R32 bumper would look better and probably cheaper than getting a bumper smoothed, really up to personal taste though.Id agree with Dec though with having 18's with the R look.

ya probaly go for the r32 front bumper, but as for the alloys i was told by my uncle who sells alloys to stay clear of 18" alloys and up, that they would decrease the ride comfort and the performance

Ye i was told before that anything bigger than 17 is too big but that didnt stop me

The anni's come with 18's standard so i wouldnt be too worried about 18's.mine is definatly a bit more sluggish with the 19's and heavy brakes.comfort with 18's is more down to your suspension setup.anything on coilovers is going to be harsher.

so would there be good ride comfort with 18" alloys on standard or lowering springs

I hate that shite

"Jayus i wouldn't put 18's on her lad, your heart will be broke" such an Irish attitude.

No disrespect to your uncle but if you do 18's right it will be grand,18's came standard on the Anni and R32,proper OEM or reputable 18's will probably be lighter than most 17" replicas, and if you lower on a decent suspension set up you can retain a good degree of comfort.

If you put anything bigger than 16's on you will have to lower the car as it will just sit up too high and look terrible, trust me on this one i had 18's with standard suspension and it looked a joke.some lads on here have different setups like just lowering springs or shock and spring setup but imo coilovers are the only way.if you lower on springs or shock/springs then your stuck to that height, but maybe you'd be happy with that.

If i was doing a mk4 again id get coils first and then wheels or what ever you wanted after that.

Just to answer your question,18's on standard suspension is very comfortable but i wouldnt drive a mk4 like that again

Dont mind them, 17's are the way forward

Very nice car btw, best of luck with it...get a H&R Cupkit on it aswell tho
