a mate of mine has bought a nice little MK3 golf and the doors are sticking and not closing right the hitting low the hinges are saging, anyway i know that the doors are a commom problem on the mk3 golf.
So i told my mate that i know just the place to get some help and tips to solve the problem so hope you lads can help me

The pins in the hinges always wear on mk3s causing the door to
drop down.Best option is to get two good hinges and bolt them on.

I dont think you can change the pins.

Checked etka, and no pin availible. Geo's answer is the next best option, and the most common way of adjusting the door in the up or down situation.

Geo is right. Just jack the door a little too high, then grab a hold of it and pull it back down slightly until the door is closing properly, it's a matter of trial and error but should sort it out.
