Were all the Mk3 Tdi's 90bhp or could you get a more powerful one than that?

Not really. Best way is to check the sticker in the boot and look for the power in KW.

Didn't know about a mk3 1.9 with 110bhp. I know the 1.9sdi is 68bhp and the td is 90bhp.
Apparently there is a mk2 1.6td with 110bhp around west cork. Supposed to have come that way from Oettinger or something.

I always thought the 110 was only available in america.

It was definitely available in germany, and I also think in the UK.

Afaik there were no mk3 td golfs (90 or 110bhp) sold in Ireland???

There is a couple of mk3 tdi 110 where i live, dont know where they came from though
