that car belonged to Ian Cooney from coachford in cork, i think it was a gti engineering car, there was talk about it on vage

the lad who owned it is from Dundalk, he got it in London and had a mk1 from brmotorsport too

That clears that up so. That was one of the best Limerick shows I was ever at, scorcher of a day

There was another mk2 there that day with 4 full sized headlights

can't find a picture of it though.

I think it was Leon. I'll have to go digging through my old photos and see if I have one somewhere.

That car was in Dublin for a while, If I remember correctly it was a lightish green. I think it was also suppossed to be a 2.0 16v and If I remember correctly had recaros in it also, which was a nice extra back then. Thats going back a few years though.
