yea graeme,i bought it off kev ,outside the garage in longford a gud few weeks ago,it really is a clean motor,not to much to do to it,apart from the grill fallig off on the way home!

ill be lowering the hell out of it!!!the back lights will be gettin broke off the road

tryin to get a hold of some arches and sill covers but ill get some genuine if i cant source a set off this,them wheels are gettin the buiilt too,BIG TIME!

 

well it passed the nct on the 25th of feb!!!
got all the g60 arches and sill covers ,clips etc...have more pics up soon,just waiting for sum lowering springs to ,should be on their way to!!

 

this'll look the business slammed. best of look with it. can't wait to see the pics.

cool pic,ill be on the lookout for a crashed or rotton mk2 golf,gti or not to convert it back to rhd ,ill post on parts wanted when i get time.

 

I know of a 16valve complete car if ur after it. Untidy shell but all the right bits, driving too....

HI KEV,NO,I PUT NEW LAMPS AND A BAGLESS GRILL,INNER CV BOOT AND A FRONT ENGINE MOUNT,IT FAILED ON A STICKY BONNET LATCH BUT PASSED AN HOUR LATTER,NO PROBLEMS ATALL.

 

just a quick pic,just shortly after the car passed the nct...and just b4 i gut the lowering springs on until i get a set of coilovers,the cars being used every day now,just want to see how it handles and what not before i do the conversion

Any updates on this? There is plenty of lovely inspiration for you in the States, they have some great examples of Jetta coupes over there

Hi Tony, was down with Vinnie Sunday Archie was there taking Pictures of Caddy, Vinnie showed me some bits he got for the jetta from otto, g60 archs front & back small side trim & sill moulds, hes waiting to get lowering springs before he puts on everything, He has a good few ideas in his head reckon she'll turn out nice in the end, hope it looks like the jetta bohall posted savage, have a look at 'Pictures by Archie' Caddy looks well

as wesley H says ive a few bits for it already,thinh i have a 8 valver doner to spill its guts for me too,itll be a busy week!!!

No offence Vinnie but i think big bumpers and arches will just be wrong on this car.
