Mk Iv Gti Wanted

Does anyone know if there are any genuine MK IV GTIs for sale in garages around the country, I can only find a very bad selection on carzone. Im looking for a 02 preferably with as low mileage as possible, preferably less than 40k. I would also prefer a sunroof to climate control and leather would also be a bonus but not essential Also what would I expect to pay for such a car?? My absolute max budget is 16k.

A mate of mine paid a fair bit more than that from a dealer about 2 months ago for one like that with leather.
yep i think you might have a bit of difficulty finding one with a nice spec like that for 16K
but i hope you find one, best of luck

Ah well I was really only chancing it by asking for one with leather but I reckon I should get one with cloth for around that price.

There is one on carzone for 15,250 in a dealers in Tallaght, seems very cheap to me, would anyone know anything about this car???

Having driven this back to back with my old remapped '02 Mk4 it felt every bit as quick and outhandled it due to uprated suspension. This would be the more sensible option over a GTI with the spec etc.
I'd agree with Trevor & KVW on this, this car is better than the GTI IMHO

Cheaper to Insure, easier on juice, more go in it, has all the bits that you would
have to put on/in a Standard GTI, suspension, wheels, brakes exhaust , lights etc & it's been well minded

The Upgrades to this car are worth thousands, which doesn't make it expensive at all

It looks like a well sorted GTI only better!
