Still waiting on the other half of my milltek to arrive from awesome but I was talking to a bloke I know who works in adavnce tyres, exhaust. I asked him did he want a nickser doin my milltek and he said he or anyone in his shop wouldn't go near it as it has to be welded on??? He said I'd have to find someone who can weld? Any suggestions on what I do next?

No welding.

My experience is mostly with Scorpion, and Milltek is of very similar quality. All aftermarket systems, whether a full system, cat back or rear box, do not have to be welded, They will fit exactly the same as the original system. Your mate probobly has no experience in this area, no disrespect to him. If he has been fitting standard aftermarket systems, and is carefull, he should be able to fit it.

But be carefull, as, if the system is fitted and not aligned properly, with all shaclkles (u bolts) tightened, it can be a bitch to align.

There should be a joint after the cat as far as I know. Cutting may be required if fitting a rear box only, as the original system is a one piece from the factory.

But I'm sure that there should be a joint after the cat.
