ITs simple enough to change with vagcom

 

Surely it could be done without vagcom? Is there not an option to change the language in the menu? Obviously a basic knowledge of German would be a help.

No, there is no option to change the language without using a factory level scan tool. The instrument clusters do not support menu driven changes to the best of my knowledge.
