Anyone ever had any dealings with Jordan motors - reason I ask is I'm gonna enquire about an S3 they have for sale down there - it's an 01 with 35k miles and it's in at 25.5K euro - thing is, the car has been for sale for at least 6 months.... anyone else ever looked at this car?

Makes my old 2002 39k miles MTM 345 brake car with 35k of upgrades look good value at 30k.

Jordans Audi S3

VSTs old S3 would be a far better buy for the extra 4.5k or so

I've had (or I should say tried) dealing with these, they are down the road from me. They are if anything woefully over priced with they're cars (not saying that the S3 is over priced, but just in general). And he never seems to drop his prices. That's why the cars are advertised for so long. If you want I can have a look at it for you and get the basic condition etc before you travel.

Thanks Brian - I'd really appreciate that.

I did notice the same thing as you - this car has been advertised for at least 6 months and has hardly dropped in price - they seem happy to hold onto stock rather than drop the price.

My problem is I really don't want the hassle of selling my mk4 gti privately - I'd rather do a trade on it.....

Like I said though, if you were around and had time to drop in I'd really appreciate it if you could take a quick look at the car

I didn't even notice VST had his S3 for sale - checking out the add now.... problem is (as I said above) I really want to trade my mk4 gti cause I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of trying to sell private.

I've only dealt with Jordan Motors once. A good few months back I enquired about the car. The guy in the garage was to bring the car up from Dublin. He called me that sat morn to say the car was keyed in Dublin. From what I remembered two of the panels needed body work... Can't remember which side but I noticed the car was off the web for a while and then re-appeared a few weeks back.

I'd say that's why the price is so high. Probably cost a few quid to fix it up..

I was advised by a mate who's in the trade to steer clear on the basis a lot of clocked cars come from the UK through Wexford - he also mentioned he's heard of some issues with cars from here....
