Got my new wheels, they've been giving me nothing but hassel. Long story short, all I have to do now is get ten longer bolts. Then I can finally fit them.
Managed to get the wheels on today after getting new hub-centric rings and longer bolts for the front two wheels. I thought I was all set, when I went to reverse out of the workshop, I heard this screeching sound. It was from the front passenger side, the longer bolts went too far through the hub and hit behind the disc. Now I have to go and get them cut down in the morning, Then hopefully I can get all four on.
Cheers, should be ready for tomorrow night, gettin the lads at alloy repairs to cut them down in the morning. German plates and vagdrivers plate holders next on my list.
@ Green-blood, so far 970 for wheels and shipping
620 for fill and redrill plus tyres
20 for 10 longer bolts
so 1610 but I'm not finnished yet, gonna space the rears bout 6mm and get bbs logo caps
Looks savage , very good inwestment !
Had the same problem with longer studs for my spacers, but I ve noticed the problem when car was still jacked up ...... well I cut 8 studs using hacksaw .... took ages of course haha
Oh, I also sprayed my spoiler satin black on sat coz it was faded grey. I'm pretty happy with it considering it was done with spray cans and I've never sprayed anything on a car before. Helped my brother spray his rear bumper on his corrado, well between coats on the spoiler.
here it is
