If it's a griffin I-Trip then yes there are specific models for each model of Ipod as far as I know.
Cheers Junior
If your ordering one for the states make sure it's not restricted to the american frequencies ...
Be careful when ordering...

The new Nano and the 5th Gen iPod (Video iPod) no longer have the top accessory mount. So previous attachments are no longer any good.

I had a 3rd Gen 20Gig iPod, and had recently bought a iTrip which was working fine, until one day the bloody iPod died on me. It's repair cost was too high.
I've ordered a new 5th Gen 60Gig iPod from the US as well as a xtrememac airplay2 in black.

airplay2

I'm going to sell my iTrip on eBay.

There is a newer iTrip which is now mounted on the bottom of the iPod.

Spend some time at the iPodLounge before ordering.
