Excellent, you should get a pic of it every time it comes in for servicing and keep us updated, love to see it near 1,000,000

How often is it serviced Tony? Is it in constant use? Meaning is it shared between two drivers one for days and one for nights?

I agree, my Dad has a 00 Trooper and he treats it with respect when it comes to driving it but the body he doesnt care it has 230,000 miles and first clutch, gearbox, the turbo only got a bit of play in it lately.

My Dads last car had 365miles before he traded it in. It was a 2.4 diesel Caravelle

my dad had a MK1 jetta 1.6 diesel (no turbo) back before i was born, it had 310K on it when he sold it. he said he bounced it around the country something proper, never remembers going too easy on it. changed the oil and filters every 5K, and no matter how he drove it, it always returned 39MPG.

i really really love high milers, its kind of like and old man who face could tell a million tales. i have even been looking to get an old E-class taxi from germany, you know the ones with close to 700,000 kilometeres on them, OH THE THINGS THEY MUST HAVE SEEN!!!
