Don't know if it's been sold here yet but there is a Golf GT fitted with VW's new 1.4 super + turbo charged engine. It's going to slot in under the GTi as a cheaper alternative especially as it's only a 1.4!

I read somewhere there will be a 140BHP and a 170BHP. Wonder what pricetag they will have!!!

It could be the 2.0 "GT" FSI, 150bhp
I don't know if the 1.4 GT is out here yet?

 

Seen one for sale in last weeks car buyers guide - Eur29,500

 

They are available alright, from just under 30k. 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TDI, both 170bhp.

 

Might have to take one or both for a (tyre-kick) test-drive!

What garages have them in stock do ye know?
