Garry Morgan(happyhippo) Memorial Meet

Hi everyone, as most of you heard or read in the papers of the tragic death of our good friend Garry on new years. He had a huge passion for the Volkswagen scene, he was a dear friend who was always there when you needed him and we had some great times together.

We would really appreciate it if we could get a nice turnout.

So the plan is to have it on the 9th of June, its a Saturday, can still change it to sunday if it doesnt suit let me know. Oh and I have booked the sunny weather also!

The location where it will be held is at the lake in Virginia, Co.Cavan (a local spot we would always spin down to). Its very easy to find, just off the main street of virginia down beside the school.

So thats it really, thanks a lot lads also for your your comments on the remembrance thread and also tezzaworld. And maybe if someone has a decent camera as it would be nice to show some of the pictures to his mum.

what time are ye planning on meeting at? is it down where that river goes into the lake?theres a jetty of sorts and a couple of boats tied up.I think theres a centra or super value on left and its the turn left immed. after it .hotel or pub there too. Is that where your meeting?

Yes thats the spot, probably meet up at a time that suits everybody, maybe around 2 oclock, not too early or late, let me know what suits

That sounds ok ,I'm gonna make a night of it I'll probably go down in the camper .I usually go there for the odd evening fishing during the summer , we haven't really been out this year with the shitty weather .but ,if its anything like today ,happy days. a few beers as well me thinks.
