It's all I've been using since it was introduced.
It's the only high octane fuel available here. It would make the most difference in a turbocharged car or a highly tuned na compared to a run of the mill car.
I've had the car on Westwards RR a few times now and each time Martin has said the car is running well and asked was I running it on E5, he said it was the best fuel for it.

Got E5 in Carlow and Mitchelstown Maxol there over the last few days and there def is a different in the S4. Really smoother.

 

Most petrol now is E5, all coming from the same place in the docks ...

 

if you serch E5 theres a few threads on it,lots of info,you'll only really see the gains on a Turbo'd or charged car

still better fuel for ur 8v

the gti runs better on it but I fnd the FSI runs smoother on Topaz

 

The Bora runs better on it,but runs longer on others

Are you sure? I had to use other fuel recently and i noticed it definately lost torque until i used Maxol again.

E5 is good, it gives good results for my mods.

 

My car idle's a little lower and she sounds smoother at idle with E5 but mitchelstown is the closest place to me with it but thats 40+ miles away

 

all i have been putting in my car since i filled it for the limerick run and i really noticed it

thats weird i was told waterford maxol cork road has it also, but i see ya got that from maxol website.

They might not have updated the website, maybe it was e85?

I know i got some fuel there some time back, but can't remember if it was e5 or e85, that they had in stock. . . .

e85 is there its stamped at the pump, do they stamp the E5 on the pumps u have been filling from??
