Shakedown on "Muckish" on Thursday
Knockalla and Fanad Head on Saturday Morning (nice start to the day)
There's a 24km stage in there too just for good measure.
Will be some event allright.

There's no way they'll get road closing orders for three days before.
They're not even getting that for Rally Ireland.
They may be patrolling the stages to ensure no one parks on the stage
or in a box junction but thats about all you can do.

Unlikely though as I know everything

I think whoever told you must have got mixed up with the shakedown like mycroft said, if they did that they would never get the locals to let them run a rally again. Cant wait to get the run up knockalla or atlantic drive, if anyone see's a grey G60 flyin up ye'll know who it is

FLYING SCOT MAKES FLYING VISIT TO FAMOUS DRIVE.
F1 superstar driver David Coulthard, lead driver in the Red Bull Racing Formula One racing team, paid a flying visit to Donegal last weekend. The multiple Grand Prix winner stopped off en route to the Canadian Grand Prix to meet with the Reid Motorsport Rally team and multiple Donegal Rally winner Eugene Donnelly.

Coulthard was also keen to view the famous Atlantic Drive rally stage, which skirts the northern coast of Donegal in a spectacular series of natural twists and turns that have tested the worlds best rally drivers for over 30 years.

Having heard so much about it, he was suitably impressed. As one onlooker put it "He should be - if you go off the road here the next stop IS Canada". The Shell Donegal Rally will once again use "the Drive" as its finale on Sunday 17th June, where setting fastest time is a special prize between the competitors.

Coulthard also met the Donegal Rally organisers, who briefed him on the event and congratulated him on his strong GP drives this season. Eugene Donnelly and Liam Reid gave him a rundown on the technology of the rally car, and in no time at all the two drivers were under the bonnet - pointing, asking, explaining - just like two drivers anywhere looking over a new car.

Except these are more than just two drivers. One a multiple Grand Prix winner; the other a multiple International Rally winner. Revered in their respective fields and linked in the common quest to be the fastest. And drawn together on the Atlantic drive in the run up to the Donegal Rally. With triple World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb heading the entry for the start on June 15th next, it's already a month to remember in Donegal.

I never even heard about him comming over

Park and ride not all that gone on it myself, sometimes can be good for people that want to head early from a spot on the top of the mountain. most people get a good spot early and park the car for the day.
Good idea getting the programs in advance saves alot of time looking for ones that are mostly sold out on the weekend.

Some big changes to the entry list

Can nither confirm or deny that tristan, but alot of the withdrawls are genunine.
But as motorsport Ireland are now putting high quality web cams on the stages of national and international events weeks before the events im not suprised there catching alot of people at the moment. but it was always an issue but people were getting away with it for years because they weren't caught.

Some genuine reasons

3 Gareth MacHale/Paul Nagle (Ford Focus WRC) [8] - Car damaged in sardinia WRC round
6 Kris Meeke/TBA (Subaru Impreza WRC) [8] - Nesbitt took his car
8 Derek McGarrity/Dairmuid Falvey (Subaru Impreza WRC) [8] - still injured after huge accident last yr
12 Gareth Jones/Greg Shinnors (Ford Focus WRC) [8] - could be something to do with losing Reid motorsport seat

Not sure about the rest.
