i know, i know, have one nearly bought as a daily driver but im told it has english spec interior! its white and has the 96 1.4 shape headlights on her, but they are bein changed anyways!! anyone shed some light on this, as i have not physically seen the car yet!!

rumour tells me its the same as a 1.8 GL model here?

An english mk3 will have the ariel in the wing and prob wont have
tinted rear lights.As for the interior its prob a comfort line.

yeah it has the aerial on the wing!! like a flag pole so, was told the interior was different but at the time he couldnt elaborate on it!! and i know the mirror caps aren't painted!!

still be a sweet little runabout lowered on the wheels currently on the mk2!!
and if the lights are non tinted CL spec on the rear, all the better for my plan!!

it should be a similar spec to mine, white dials, leather wheel, colour coded bumpers. Mine is a 97 and its all factory. inc the gti rear lights.

my Driver was a 94 and it had a full black GTI trim, was nortnern tho before

Southern 97 Mk 3's were end of line and got silver dials, colour-coded bumpers & GTi rear lights.

Not sure about Northern/Uk spec Mk 3's but I reckon the GTi trim/mouldings were probably put on your car by a previous owner Dan. They look really well on the Mk 3.
