Some do but I wouldn't bother going the angle grinder route.

Give Keith in Alloy-wheels a call and get some springs. Not expensive.

 

dont cut the springs,just buy a cheap set of lowering springs or coilovers

spring rates will change and be hella bouncy and some would say potentially unsafe

 

weres the cheapest place to get a set of springs an how low would use recommend ?

 

if you cut the springs too m,uch and go over a bump the springs wont decompress enough to keep tension at the top of the shock and they will fall out of the home for them at the shock top

 

Ur better off going for a cheap set of coilovers .Keith at alloy wheels does them for about 200 quid

 

go onto ebay, u can get a brand new set of cheap budget coilovers, for all 4 corners, that will drop ur car as much or as little as you want. delivered for about 200quid. cheap easy route in my opinion - alot safer than cut springs and u can pass nct with this aswel.

is lowerin springs any good how low would u go with springs tat wont be overly bumpy ?
