Its been appealed by the DPP

Wonder what an Irish judge would do to ya if you gave this speal that a police driving instructer gave at the original court appearance

QUOTE Here's a clear and proper admission that in suitable circumstances even 159mph need not be dangerous. If 159mph can be safe enough not to endanger the public, then surely this is a clear official admission that driving a few miles per hour over the speed limit isn't necessarily dangerous either.

"There is so much more to safe driving than speed. Any speed at all can be deadly, and any speed at all can be adequately safe if conditions are suitable.

"Road safety depends on drivers selecting safe and appropriate speeds according to the conditions and the vast majority of us do it well and do it safely. But erroneous official messages have been undermining the process and deaths are going up. We have to get back to the policies that gave us the safest roads in the world in the first place, long before speed cameras and the pointless obsession with numerical speed."

3 bikers out shooting fish in a barrel this morning in Kilmac on the N11, 60km zone, and everyone brakes down to about 30km when they see them, causing tailbacks.

2miles up the road and there's a truck with a flat in the fast lane, on the mobile ...

Then Vento in the fast lane, middle of nowhere not a car in sight, flashed him to move over, and he just waves his arms in the air ...

The whole lot is laughable at this stage.

And they wonder why we have a dislike for the Gardai. Go catch some real crooks!

Got broken into the night before xmas eve, shed loads stolen, and the garda just said "Well u can say goodbye to that stuff." They know who did it and never went near them. PR1CK$

I see this everyday all over the country, this and the state of our roads(potholes, uneven surfaces etc...)
I would say this has alot to do with the deaths on our roads
