Trapster has some of the speed camera locations and can run in the backround and provide audible warnings if you want.

 

The remote is awful handy i found, also free, basically it connects to your laptop via wifi so you just plug in the audio jack and leave the laptop down in the corner closed and control the music from your iphone/touch. Its great if your having a party as it stops the annoying f*#kers that insist on hanging around the laptop changing the tune every 30 seconds.

The torch, saved me from a few up turned plugs its free also.

labyrinth 3d is addictive and again free

 

palringo is a great chat app. you can log your fb chat, g chat, msn etc. into it and when you open it it will log you into them all so you can chat in all of them. great for killlin time on the bus etc.

also the carzone app is awesome.

it can find the WEP key of any eircom internet so if your near someones eircom interenet you click the button and it gives you the code so you can use it

Thats a savage app. the amount of people who leave their wifi on the default eircom settings is crazy.

Have used it a few times and always works.

yeah very few people have the settings changed .

Alot of stuff on app store is on market aswell. Im android myself. Wordfued and monkey kickoff are great games. Swype is also a brilliant app for speeding up you typing.

it costs you data usuage so yes if on 3g - very lite streams though

I know this is a bit of a bump but I got an iPod touch yesterday and I can't get any apps on it. It says that I need a software update but it is up-to-date

Can anyone shed any light on this for me???

@orla, it is synced. It says the lated update is 2.2.1 is the latest but it asks for 3.0 or 3.1 when i try download anything

My TY class got a bit addicted to it and I ended up with the hight score and they got bored trying to catch me
I played it there a few weeks ago and i got over 13000 on my first try

But this software thing is killing me!

 

Downloaded an app from android market that measures your heartrate by placing the tip of your finger over the camera lens. Its pretty funky cool. Seemingly for every beat, your skin changes colour and your camera can pick it up. Its accurate too. Its called instant heart rate. Im sute its available for iphone aswell.

 

Got over 5k in canabalt. Need to beat it, the windows keep catching me out.

Guitar hero is pretty good. Can get expensive though.

Howstuffworks is good, it's free too.

All on the iPhone.
