QUOTE (ShaunieVW @ Jan 30 2012, 07:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Different engine I think, the celica has 190 altezza supposedly has 220 but loses load through drivetrain loss, I wouldnt have either tbh, I wanted a altezza at one point until I drove a few, very very disappointing, they are probably out of budget but I wouldnt mind an s2000!!!

@Farley, nice wagon above, love impress wagons, I was working in a garage throughout the build of a 2.5 wagon, was fun!

S2000 are great but i had a lend of a del-sol for a week, and two seats are a pain in the hole

And cheers for that shaunie loved that car, and ive read in a few places the wrx sti wagon isnt rare
but there isnt a hole lot of them not sure how true that is but was a cracking car to drive, thing that got
to me with that was it was 99 so i bought a load of upgrades for a version 6 but the fecking wagon in 99
was version 5 the saloon was version 6 everything came nothing fitted had to wait ages to sell everything
on donedeal and so on and then re-buy

Thats my impreza, versiĂłn 3,completely standard apart from boost turned up a bit
Goes like a stabbed badger,also had a 98 dc2,an s14,2 glanzas,3 levins One of Which was supercharged
Dc2's are an absolutely epic car and every car owner should have the pleasure of owning One at some stage

DC2 unreal car to drive. proper drivers car. amazing in a straight line and in the corners.

I did drive an s2000 before. It was brillant. Very fast car. Heard altezzas love the petrol alright.

yea an altezza will absolutely kill ya trying to keep petrol in it, i had one for a few weeks, even compared to a tdi anni it was a slow as a wet week, very comfortable, but way too boaty to drive it hard, unstable under hard braking, and not very good in corners, the only thing its good for is going round in little pointless circles untill ya either get dizzy or your back tyres burst....

what about a gto twin turbo

If getting an ep3 try getting a jap import instead of an english one, better spec gearbox and recaro interior rather than just a "type r" interior, probably a few other differences too but they'd be the main 2 I can think of off the top of my head.

dc2s are amazing, had one for two years, probably the best car i've driven, more power would be nice though. same power delivery but just more of it would be nice.

and to the person who said a vvtli celica is similar to an altezza... they really aren't. in any way. like comparing a bmw 320 and a corrado.

vvti jap special maybe as there 220 but none of the other new shape as they are dodgey with braking and bit too thirsty for what they are.
st205 gt4 are a great car and savage to go sideways (if you can manage full power to 4 wheels in stead of 60 - 40 at the rear) and i've had enough celicas. very fun car but keep away from abused versions. the only thing i like about altezza's are the dials

. celica beams are good craic too

I was very very dissapointed by the gt-4s, I always loved them as a teen, then I got a spin in one, So painfully slow, A mate had one as a track day car too and was getting its ass kicked by pretty much everything out there!

ive seen 300hp ones keep up with evo's and even make dirt a them on back roads but each to their own.

would love a rx-7 if the engines didnt fall out of them on a regular basis

have to say a pulsar GTI-R

Find a nice standard one and there bullet proof and loads of fun and even super quick in standard form ( i was in a standard one last week and the acceleration is EPIC)

There a brilliant car... people do say they blow up... but thats just silly little boys getting them turning the boost way up and messing with them when they dont have a clue with nearly no internal work etc etc...
