The only OEM item that he could realisticly fit is the front RS4 bumper, but even with this it will require heating to mold it to the standard A4 body.

The real RS4 has seriously flared wheels arches.

Is his car a avant or saloon ?

If he does a search on Audiworld he will find many attempts to do it, and advice. Try the B5 A4 and B5 S4/RS4 forumn.

I was going to say the same as pdxa4, sure he would have to change the arches and alot of the car, he could always just get an S-Line kit, it would be alot cheaper

That's a lovely kit on that one, you see it on alot of A4s in the North & across the water

I think that kit allows for the two exhaust pipes too, one either side

(that silver one for sale in the Autotrader up North at the minute?)

Ive seen alot of the northern A4's with that kit on it, not a big fan of it though, I think it makes a classy saloon car into a tacky looking car. A set of 18"OEM RS4's and lower the car is the job

@ Dave B

We've done a lot of these cars over the years, both with OE Votex/S line parts and Caractere/Oettinger OE quality gear.

Is it a 01 B5 or a 01 B6 A4? ( ie last of the old shape or first of the new shape)

We'll have a customers 05 TDi A4 finished in a couple of weeks, 19in Sportecs,RS6 8pot brakes, MTM ecu, H&R coilovers, S4 alloy mirrors and a full (very subtle) Caractere bodykit coplete with a proper dual exhaust if he wants a look at some pics.

Only thing is find out his budget first, for the money a lot of lads expect to spend on a decent kit, it wouldnt buy the front bumper and the paint.........

Looks like an S-line to me. So where do you go to get one?

That's the genuine VW/Votex kit, it is not the S-line kit. S-line kit has a much more subtle front spoiler.
That kit costs €2000 from the main dealer excluding painting & fitting. My housemate got it fitted to his A4 before Xmas so I know that price is current. Dual exit pipes were another €360 from JON exhausts in Newry.

The rear bumper with this can have twin, single or no exhaust cut-outs. The bumper is the same, each corner has removeable slots where blanks can be inserted if not fitting twin pipes.

We looked at other kits before he bought that one. A similar enough looking Rieger one was a bit cheaper. Side skirts didn't have jacking points though, a problem when in the garage as it can't be put up on the lift.

That kit goes on over the existing bumpers, they can't be removed as there's nothing to attach it to if the originals are removed.

Oettinger make a gorgeous looking kit, and as already stated their stuff is quality but not cheap

I know - some people have told me that it can't be a 1.6 and that it looks "at least like a 1.8t".
