Here is mine
Pretty much standard, I have a set of MJ interior S3 logo mats (hard got the S3 logo is patented by Audi), BBS CH's on spacers and a remap.

To fit I have
Full Polybush Kit
Porsche 996 rear brake callipers on ECS discs.
H&R Coilovers

I plan to fit a hybrid turbo, decat and exhaust at some point. Might fit an induction kit. But with other projects (205, clio and MK1 Golf) on the go I am struggling for time. Plus doing the garden at the moment too. Not to mention money!!!

Nice idea for a thread!

However it has made me realise what crap pictures I have of my Avant, so until I get to taking some proper ones, these will have to do...

It's pretty much standard at present with just some cosmetic changes such as German style number plates and a partial debadge. I plan to do some further cosmetic stuff before I look at power / performance modifications. I know that many people say sort out the go and then the show, but personally I prefer to be happy with how the car looks before I go improving the performance, and in any case the performance ain't too sloppy as it is...

My first significant modification will be a set of coilovers. I know most people go for the rims first and the drop later but there will be the guts of a year between when I buy the coilovers and the rims so I don't want it to look like it's on stilts during that time. After that it will be a set of these pretty bitches...

Image

...and then a Milltek. After that I'm not sure. These are medium term plans anyway as I have to save up for them. In the meantime though, I have ordered an OEM Audi coupe quattro front grille badge...

Image

...which will be installed with with a badgeless quattro grille...

Image

...both from TMTuning.com. I will also be removing the Audi rings and the quattro badge from the rear to clean up the look a bit (I have already removed the rear A4 and 1.8T badges...

I will post some decent photos when I get (JON to do a freebie for me
Image
) round to taking some...

14 months now and boy has it grown on me, huge grip in all weathers, and has been enhanced even more by the addition of some Goodyear F1 Asymetrics. No issues as of yet. Will upgrade to an RS4 rear anti roll bar soon and maybe some BBS's (thinking also of a remap which will bring it up to 365bhp but also remaps the gearbox programmes). Fuel consumption in town is an astonishing 12mpg, but on longer runs near 30mpg is possible with a light right foot. Gearbox took months to get used to, I find I use full auto in town and knock it over to tiptronic mode when out on the road, response from the paddles is good (as long as you don't lift) and easily as quick as a conventional manual box. Sport mode is a hoot though, aggressively holding onto gears and really lets you play on the twisties. Engine is wonderful and makes all the right noises and has plenty of grunt. Other than a pretty unyielding ride in town, its perfect with a young family its all the car I need.

Heres a couple of my S3 taken a while back. Nothing much has changed really other then the wheels but I'll probably end up putting the OE ones back on soon.

Here's another couple from me -

My last car an A3 1.8T Sport. It was a great car in excellent condition. It had one owner from new and was completely original when I got it even including the Blaupunkt cassette deck. Im sorry I ever sold it tbh but that's life.

Thanks Breffni, They will only be on for the mean time. When we get the LM replicas in im going to put a set on and see what their like.

QUOTE (mikerd4 @ Jun 21 2009, 02:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>they look good but a little lost in the arches. Maybe some spacers to push them out a touch?

Theres 20 mm spacers on the back of it already. I'd easily get 30mm on without issues but I dont like the way you can see too much of the tyre from directly behind the car. The wheels are 8.5 in wide and that stretches the tyre a little so the side walls look rounded so that adds to the sunken look. When I get the new wheels and get round to fitting the coilovers and tie bars it should look much better.

Sounds like a good few plans there. I've never seen LM's on an a3/s3 before could like very good. I like the CH's on Plane's a3.

Looking forward to seeing a set of the LM's on you car Keith. Don't think the pic does them justice.

QUOTE Plane those CH's look sweet on the S3.. what offset are they?

Think e35. Will check.

Like Keith I plan to have coilovers soon. Also have them on spacers too. 20mm each side on the back and 15mm each side on the front. Might change them a bit to 15 on the back and 10 on the front.
