Hi folks been too long since the bora went and the msport coupe didn't really go well for me so most here will know I've been stuck in a Renault megane estate for over a year now until 3 weeks ago. I couldn't take it any longer so I wanted something VAG again but what was the biggest question, I've done two boras, one mk4 golf there are tonnes of a4's around so I set my sights on a a6 because there not a popular car of choice in this country. So I'm not overly mad on diesel as I do very little driving and it just doesn't benefit me and the noise of them doesn't do much for me either so I said I'll go for a petrol one and wanted a big low and slow cruiser so I went for a automatic/tiptronic one.

The car I bought I'm extremely happy with, in excellent condition, 2.0L petrol auto/tip only 85k miles t.belt and water pump done at 69k with a full main dealer service history, no wear inside on buttons and so on, never smoked in a day of its life ashtrays and cigarette lighters brand new, spare alloy brand new never used and tool kit or first aid kit brand new and untouched its really a fine example of a car and I was over the moon with my purchase.

So then it was time to start planning so because there is very little around with anything done to them I hit Google for some inspiration and found one the very same color as mine with a set of wheels I would never have thought of putting on it a set of Kahn rs-c alloys as soon as I seen it I said right there the wheels that have to be got, here is a quick snap of the car I found one Google

So last Sunday I was sitting around the house and was looking on donedeal as I do every spare minute and here is a set of rs-c alloys for a Audi so after a quick call to a good mate of mine and a late sunday evening trip to cork I bought them, was very happy to have found them, I put them on the following day they looked really well on the car but as you can imagine it looked like a monster truck here is how it sits now

So the height was seriously annoying me for a hole of 2 days lol so on the phone straight away and ordered new coilovers which should be here today and will be fitted Sunday as its the only chance I'll get, so I will update with new pictures as soon as the coilovers are in, from the arch to where I want to be is 6" just over the alloy the same as the picture above this should be fun when you consider my wheels are 18s and the ones in the picture are probably 20s and looks to be on air

Next plans as soon as that's sorted

H.I.D's fitted
H&R spacers front & back
S-Line door blades
Full leather interior
Tinted wind breakers
U.S number plate tub
U.S style daylights/marker lights
Quattro rear bumper lower section
Dual exhaust system

And whatever other bits I think of along the way, i know alot are going to ask themselfs this question so ill just get it out of the way "will it be color coded" im really not sure on this answer firstly i really dont have the money to do it at the moment and secondly anyone who does up a a4 or a6 there almost all color coded so im going to see how she fairs out as she stands and try do something a bit different but the plan for coding isnt put to bed just yet, so all opinions welcome and thanks for looking

Excellent choice. My only concern is the mentioned HIDs dont do it it will ruin her and you will piss off every other driver onthe road.

Hard to get any info on these cars in regards to putting stuff on it so I'll see if anyone here can help, will a u.s tub fit my bootlid of is it a hole replacement bootlid going mad to get one but shipping and painting on a different bootlid is going to cost silly money, I think by looking at the picture it will fit I think the sides were the fogs are is wider than mine which makes up for the small plate recess maybe I'm wrong

Nice bus good look with it,
Wheels are diff on a Audi but will make it stand out
I really think you should colour code the car it would make it look lower to the ground. Keep up good work

Thanks a lot for the comment folks really means a lot as doing a a6 can go either way so it's good to hear opinions and keep her on the right track, today is the day that will answer the color coding question I'll see what's it's like lowered and take it from there then.

On other news this week I have a red Luke tow strap coming for the front bumper and a kit to give me u.s daylights/markerlights can't wait to get that in, so just getting the breaky now and off to fit these coilovers can't say I'm looking forward to it now

Haha no mate it's not, right I can do a few bits with cars but not a lot my bora last year me and my mate fitted the coilovers and it was grand but this yolk oh lord a different kettle of fish and I really couldn't get threw it to be honest trying to take of them control arms and so on was a nightmare so I have the back ones in on there highest settings and have my mechanic putting in the fronts tomorrow or tuesday so the waiting game continues, soooo disappointed as I was looking forward to getting them in today but once there in for the kildare meet wed I don't mind to much
