Well....sitting here pretty gutted this morning.
Got a call last night to say my Uncle had been killed while out walking in Ballymoate yesterday afternoon. He had been working nights away from home and had just had something to eat and was gone out for a walk rather than sit round the hotel. A 4x4 came across a bridge lost control and hit him. We have conflicting reports that it hit 2 other cars first then him or him first. Either way he had serious head injuries and died shortly later in Sligo general hospital.
So why am I posting this you minght ask...i don't know to be honest......Perhaps someone who reads it will slow down that little bit more or take that little bit of extra care that means another family won't spend this weekend or any weekend burying a loved one due to stupid things that can be avoided.
