Hi,
I have been lurking around on VAGE for the last month or so but it seems that this is now the place to be!!!

I collected my car from the UK a few weeks ago so I don't have any good pics yet, only the one from the ad, I'll take some over Christmas.

This is my third Corrado I had a Pearl Green 16v and a Burgandy G60 I also had a Rallye which I imported from Belgium in '97 (I miss that the most)

Anyway here's some pics.

Cheers
Dusty

Nice looking car. I think that's the best colour and wheel combo for an early corrado.

This is getting beyond a joke, we must have most of the corrados in Ireland on here at this stage.

Think I've seen you over on the corrado forum have I?

Hi and welcome Dusty - mind me asking where you managed to find it? I have never driven a Corrado before
- must dig out my tyre kicking shoes soon to rectify that.

Cheers Lads,

I found the car in the UK via Autotrader.co.uk, I got a mate over there to look at it, he gave it the green light so I bought it and stored it at his house untill I went over. By the time I saw the car I'd already owned it for 5 weeks!

First thing I did was take it to Darren in G-werks for a stage4 charger rebuild since it has 95k on the clock and there was no evidence that it had been done before.

I have a 68mm pulley and an SNS no lag chip to fit in the new year, along with an oil cooler, red/clear rear lights and a few other bits and pieces.

When I got it the interior was filthy, the leather was more brown than grey, there is a thread here with pics. (might have to login to see pics tho
)

Hope to meet a few of you next year, might make it up to Portlaoise on the 8th.

Cheers
Dusty

I sold it when I knew I was moving to Ireland, didn't fancy LHD on all the narrow country roads, Bought a Mk3 GTI instead, regret it now of course

Actually I need a new rear wiper motor. There is huge play in the existing motor, you can move the wiper halfway across the rear window before you meet any resistance!
