hey guys can anybody help me out here?? i dont no much about audi's so i tought id ask here first just incase someone had the same problem befor??
Its a 01 audi a4 and i have no aircon in my car. The ECON light stays on all the time. When i press it, it goes off but when i release it comes back on and the air con does not kick in.. any one no whats going on??

Could be as simple as being out of gas.

Pilsen autos in Dublin (Site Sponsor) have a good deal on at the moment for regassing. I'm sure they could do it. Check out their section.

Mine had the same fault, it depends on the fault code stored by the HVAC.
Mine was the pressure sensor G65 by the radiator. if its signal too low theres a good chance your low on refrigerant but if its short to ground theres a good chance the sensor is either dead or theres a problem with the wiring getting to the sensor. (my story)
