A neighbour of mine has just took the plates off his old passat, reckon he wants it towed away but probably would give her away or sell her on with plates cheap enough, might do for a project, daily or scally rally??

PM me if you want location, city centre dublin, it will be towed by tomorrow I reckon?

It was droped old style the last few days, he put a tonne of reclaimed bricks in the back, lol, used mainly for transporting dogs, it will be towed soon as they were towing mine over tax and that has plates lol

put my name into the hat for that one; though where I come on the pecking order is up to him; Id be breaking it for its engine; if someone was going to scally rally or keep it on the road, he might prefer that...

One person has being on to me for it, but its down to first come first served I reckon, as it could be towed away any time by clampers or anyone that fancies her.. its in alright condition too......You could use her as a daily to be honest...

Couldn't say to be honest but any time I heard her starting it was on the button, he upgraded to a b5 estate.. didn't speak to the chap about it, but its for the taking.......Mileage would be highish I reckon but it looks clean..... didn't smoke much either for an old-ish oil burner

To be honest I would like to have this myself, I am currently trying to sort her out for Adam (he desperately needs a car

) so just waiting on word from owner and adam, will keep you's updated, he may not want her back on the road for some reason, or it could be taken before then...

it looks to be servicable though so it would be a shame for it to be crushed when somebody could get use out of it.
and as adam NEEDS a car, then it would be perfect.

its an estate, has a roof rack AND has a tow bar, if nothing other then a yoke to drag trailers and car parts around it would be ideal.

I would like to see Adam have her too, but still waiting on a word with the owner just to be nice about it, and waiting on word from Adam.. and get the plates, book etc....

Knowing Adam it would be a little "TWEAKED"

But if its not sorted by later tonight it will be towed tomorrow, or robbed, joy rided and burned, its a perfectly good car..

Chop the roof from the front of the rear doors to the boot, a bit of blending and you have a "paddy" pick up.......

...if it goes to someone like Adam who is in need of a car, rather than someone making a few quid breaking it, it'd be a great end to this story; all too often on adverts you see useable car being given away for free and the same old 'usernames' getting them, only for them to reappear a few weeks later on donedeal; its human nature and the way the world is, but in an ideal world you'd prefer to see it going to someone who needs it....

I would be of the same opinion as yourself Kev, but if Adam don't contact me soon, and he don't see the owner its still a free for all, unless the clampers take it (and they will soon)

Myself and my friend are hoping to do the scally rally and this would be perfect for that and a project car also. I'm in america for summer but he's at home so would be him collecting, his name on here is Dar.C. We're both students so the price would also be perfect ha!
