8v Twin Weber 40 Setup

Full Carb 8v setup

This setup includes:

2x Twin Barrel Weber 40s
An 8v inlet manifold
Facet Red Top Fuel Pump
Filter King Fuel Pressure Regulator

Basically everything you need to fit these to an 8v GTi. They where run on a 2.0 Pinto Ford Transit before I bought them so with some slight tweaks, they should be fine to run on an 8v or even a 16v engine.

They are a little dirty but a can of carb cleaner will sort that out.

I would like £300 ono for everything.

Would you know what would be needed to run these on a 1600 crossflow engine?

Or what normally needs changing?

Ill try and get more pics tomorrow man.

They will fit a 1600. If anything, they will be easier to fit cause you dont need to fuck about with the ECU or any of the associated wiring. Basically its a bolt on job and run the fuel lines. They getting it set up... you can buy a haynes manual that is really good to help set them up.

Are they for a 1.8 8v or 2.0 8v? Where did you get the manifold?

Theyll fit a 1.8 8v PB head (MK2 8v GTi) The 2.0 8v from a MK3 GTi has a different head.
