Just bought a polo as my first car, its a bog standard, black one litre. in far from mint condition, runs grand but needs a respray anyway! along with some wide wheels and a decent lowering, so yeah any ideas what i should do with the paint? not alot of funds around so i was thinkin matte black, anyone got any other ideas? also anyone with cheap springs or coilies for sale would be a help! this is gonna be the most budget of budget cars!

Matt orange. I'd love to see a matt orange Polo. With wide black steels. Blackened headlights and 16v Rear lights.
And get a set of cheapie coilovers for the lowering part, you wont get low enough on springs alone.
Could do a chalkboard bonnet but thats probably bindun by now...

you wont believe this but i was thinkin matte orange for the wheels, have two cans already but its fluorescent orange so might be a bit too mad for the whole car. hmm not a bad idea though!

that tire is currently full of water, the other side is ripped open! im not using those wheels that was just to see what the orange looked like against the black

cheap coils from england will see ya right. can be got for 200 quid and you can slam it then.
don't go for springs.
other then that wide wheels in a mad colour. i have lime green wheels on my polo and bright red on the passat. (so don't go thinkin your original.

finally a must have for 6n polo owners a set of 16valve bumpers.

Even less at the moment, i've seen sets for a mk2 golf on ebay for ÂŁ170 with an option to make a best offer! They might as well be free!

Take the tint off the indictors on the front the will look 10x better if your going down the matt black route

i like the 8v bumpers actually. sorta different considering polo owners generally do just swap to 16v ones. plans are ibiza splitter debadged grill then spray the car and wheels matte black
