Hey guys,

My girlfriends Dads 2007 Audi A6 Allroad got stolen last night.

It was located in Clonsilla, Dublin 15.

If anyone has any idea of where to look or they spot something suspicious could they give me a call.

Dave

Its indentical in colour and model to this one except different wheels.

Registration Number is 07-D-7047

It has some distinct features, the rear wiper is broken and is stuck in Vertical position, there is small dent on the aluminium cover on the rear bumper

There was 50km of petrol left in the tank also so they had to pull in early enough to get petrol.

Cheers lads and any help is much appreciated. Even if you could pull into your local apartment blocks or have a quick look around your area it would be very much appreciated.

How was it taken? Break in and keys job?

As stated in the car used in the shooting, taxi plates are used all the time by these gangs as it allows them to search an area without arrousing too much suspicion.

There are 3 gangs that specialise in the taking with key type robberies in the Dublin area. One in Tallaght, two in Clondalkin. One of the gangs are a bunch of travellers. It might be worth checking car parks/flats/shopping areas etc to see if the car has been parked up in case it had a tracker fitted.

Thanks Jon. A lad on boards posted that clip up earlier. Luckily its not the same car though. What a coincidence though!

Yeah Mike, they pried open the hall door and helped themselves to the keys.

I've checked a good bit of finglas already along with the back roads from blanchardstown to finglas.

My girlfriend and her dad are going to spend the day searching and ill go back out myself after work.

Ill check around the clondalkin area too.

Sorry for texting you so early.

QUOTE (jon_95 @ Jun 29 2010, 09:51 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>From today's paper... on the double shooting, hope its not related if it was count yourselves very lucky!

"A burnt-out silver A6 Audi was found in the Foxborough area last night about a mile from the murder scene, near the Moorefield estate of the Neilstown Road. GardaĂ believe this car was most likely used by the killers.

The car was fitted with a taxi plate and stolen registration plates bearing the number 00 KE 13498. Anyone who saw this car in the Clondalkin village/Neilstown Road area between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. last night or who, following the shooting, observed the car travelling on the Fonthill Road or in the Foxborough area is asked to contact gardaĂ at Ronanstown Garda Station."

This has just been on today FM's news now too.

Unfortunately we have no photos of it. It is identical to the pic though.
The rear wiper will be a dead giveaway and the fact that there are very few of these on the road.

Yeah I've got it up on:

boards
Octane
Manic Motorz
Midnight Club

Anymore anyone can think of?

By any chance does anyone know of any regular spots that cars get parked up to 'cool down'?I would try estates with communal parking. Cars are less likely to be noticed parked in those areas compared to those estates with driveways/designated parking.

Yeah we rang eflow and there going to get back to us when the database updates....

Yup I've been in and out of estates all last night.

Checked the car parks over at the airport as well. Man the long term car parks are some big area's. I was driving up and down them for ages. Surprised I wasnt approached and asked what I was up too...

On a side note my drive shaft fell off whilst out looking last night too.

Must have forgot to tighten it up after I took out the gearbox. The joys of working in your driveway.
