I was going to buy this car as I knew it was coming in, but in the end I did'nt as I wanted to go for the jeep and prefered a 2006 model as I will be in it for the next 3 years.

But they told me they would give it to me as soon as the new owner picked up his €90k A6 3.0TDI with every extra you could imagine, which he did on tuesday.

I picked up the car yesterday and have it for a few days, while my Golf is in for its 90k service, It is some yoke to go, I have just left it in sport mode when driving it and it is quick and the engine sounds lovely for a diesel
,its the V6 2.5TDI

The car has all the extras DOLPHIN GREY MET., 18" OEM RS4, AIR CON, CRUISE CONTROL, BUFFALO LEATHER, BOSE SOUNDS SYSTEM ETC..... and cost €60,000k in January 2004 and it now has 33k miles on it with a FASH.

Just driving it, it seems as if it has an awful lot more than 180bhp in it

What do you reckon its worth now?

I have a friend recently bought a 02 on the same, only manual. I reckon the 04 is worth about €40,000. How much are they looking for it?

Sounds like a nice yoke...If it was a manual then it would be a winner.
Is it Quattro or FWD ?

Qauttro

I drove a 163bhp 2.5TDI quattro before & it was far from impressive

Love to see what the 180bhp one is like with a remap! 210/220bhp & sh1tloads of torque!

Tony I drove this for 6 days and I could'nt get out of it, the 180bhp was very pokey and the auto/triptronic/sportsboxs I just left in sport mode all the time and it was cool to drive, more than enough power

Which Garage is it in?

Might go have a look at it.......not crazy on the colour, but the spec is very good for an Irish car!

Previous owner obviuosly has a few €€€s!

Are you still interested in an A4 Quatto.

A friend of mine might be selling his. I'm sure most of ye have seen his previous cars, the Black MK4 with the wide BBS Lm's that was in waterford a few months back and a few more.

The picture isn't great. It's a 02 2.5 V6 TDI 180 Quattro Sport. She has the full buffalo (heated) leather, dual climate control, Quattro kit he got fitted by Isacc Agnew in Belfast. Brand new 18" RS8's, 80k miles, full service history, new maf, timing belt etc. After having 5 vage cars I think he's gonna go for a skyline again.

God no, Tiptronic is a far better option. You can have full automatic & semi-auto (tiptronic). Best of both worlds.
