Well lads having a bit of a mare with gearboxes lately basically have 2 fucked ones and I'm planning on trying to make one good one from them but I said I might throw a thread up here in case anyone has one lying around for cheap!

every used gearbox will be somehow fecked, so after installing it, soon youl be looking for another one. might worth do recondition on your old one ... would be around 250 -300 , so you getting nearly new gearbox, and happy days ... all depend how you driving. those boxes are soft ... i think when you go to recondition box, you may ask get heavy duty bearing ... or something. ... also you get some warranty, so youl be fine for good time.

You are right I looked at this when my gearbox gave up.
As the replacement cost increased,I bought another car with a good gearbox.
This is what is for sale.
