Well new to this so said I'd put up a build of my mk5 golf van (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ok bought it back in December as a standard van and the fun started from there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) so I really wanted a White one but one came up at the right money so said I'd make it into a full project , so after thinking for a while about lowering it and after paying a visit to John peden in the north I decided to bag the golf as it made more sense as the van is for the use of my business Hair design @ home , so I went with a rayvern kit and got john peden to fit them , John was determine to make the mk5 the lowest mk5 he has done to date and with the use of modded top mounts and a big chassis notch it was in fact his lowest mk5 done (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/0be91ce0.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/e009bb07.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/47937149.jpg)

So a few pics after she got bagged (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/13331bef.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/af127cd7.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/11e24aa8.jpg)

So after the golf got her bags it was time for the panel beater (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) so there was a bad repair job done before on the passenger side quarter panel so fro me word go the panel beater had a job on his hands from word go (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) the panel had to be stripped back to metal which wasn't tat hard as with the first belt of a power hose a full skin of paint was removed lol , I decide to remove the rub strips from the sides of the golf which involved removing the door skins to fill the holes left from the rub strips , I decided to go with a gti front bumper and side skirts along with a r32 rear bumper but had the reflectors flushed

(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/f52a75bb.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/bc75de8e.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/1fb566a0.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/effba6df.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/6617e9c5.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/602de799.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/0180d2c9.jpg)

So while the car was away at the panel beaters I found a set of Rh evaluations ,18inch , 10s on the rear and 8.5s up front , the wheels were in rough condition I purchased them so we decided to split the wheels and get the centres powder coated pink (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/80cf55a1.jpg)

So back to the body shop lol The car also needed a new bonnet and the two wings were replaced , I went with Audi White

(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/1bcb491b.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/13e2a6a3.jpg)

So we got the wheels built and sealed up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/51a6b51f.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/f06d3dc2.jpg)

So Got the car back from the paint shop 3 days before limerick show so ther was a bit of a rush to get the wheels on and have it sitting rite (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) the exhaust was also to be fitted

(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/5469e263.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/ac7ddd76.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/935c3cff.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/8d82a0ca.jpg)
(IMG:http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p577/denisedoeshair/50690c21.jpg)

So withe the exhaust all welded up by j.h welding on this and a 5 mil spacer on the front she was ready for Limerick (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Wow! That is as sweet a van for the job as anybody could ask for.

Fair play to you M'lady.

The pink wheels look sweet under it.

Just out of interest, how much did that bodywork set you all back...?

Wish my Mrs drove a motor like this.

Slowly converting her... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
