At that age and mileage it is probably worth getting a full service done with all the filters (assuming they haven't been done before) plus a brake fluid change. Total cost around €225. Hi George,
Make: VW Model: Golf GTI Year: 2006 engine code: AXX Could I get a price for the following. Standard service. Replace cam follower (you inspected it last time and recommended it was changed at the next service) Replace left front outer CV boot (also recommended at next service) Also when I was there last you noticed the car a little down on power and along with the scan you thought the diverter valve diaphram was at fault, I was to call to you again in the mean time to get this sorted but I just hadn't time so could I get a price for doing this also. Thanks. |

Prices as follows (all include parts, labour and VAT): Oil service €75, or if you want a more comprehensive inspection the standard inspection service is around €100. Cam follower replacement €65 Outer CV boot replacement €75 DV replacement €100 All parts are genuine and are in stock. -------------------- |

If it is in a Mk3 Golf as per your username then it would be €200 fitted.
If it is in a Passat or an A4 then it would cost more as there is more labour involved. -------------------- |

hi,this is the code im getting roughly how much to diagnose and repair,if it helps i pulled connector block to abs and the stuttering was no worse or better have pulled and cleaned any connector block i could find around the gearbox.she's manual.

It's probably a wiring problem of some sort. I would say an hour would go a long way towards diagnosing it, so €55.

Hi. Are you still quoting for work? I have an Audi A6 2.0 TFSI 2006 with a slightly lumpy idle and turbo... Might be PCV and I haven't checked the cam follower for a while... might be something else but I don't know hence my needing an expert.
